Stop Whinging

OK Stefan, you don't have to look at the Bushies article anymore. On the other hand, it's nearly cricket season again so I guess there'll be more Bushies' news soon .... I bet you can't wait!

Blackies bow out bravely ....

Blackburn Under 15's lost their last finals match last week against Ferntree Gully Eagles. The season is over but they can be justly proud of their efforts. Well done to them all.

.... but now it's time for bat and ball

Footy's over and cricket training has started. Can the Blackburn Under 16's maintaing the momentum with which they finished last season in their stunning upset victory? Expectations are high.

Free Anti-Virus Software?

My desktop was infected with the ZLOB virus and McAfee could not detect it. ZLOB regularly issued a warning that the PC was infected and that I should download their product to clean it up.

I rang McAfee helpdesk pointed me a tool to download that was able to remove it. It seems that anyone can go to this site and download the software: Malwarebytes.

I don't know what else it is likely to fix but it is worth keeping in mind for future issues.

• The Dark Knight (new Batman movie) ... almost but not quite as good as the excellent Batman Begins but Heath Ledger as The Joker is terrific.
• The Bank Job ... off to see this tonight.
• Juno ... saw this on dvd. Thumbs up, quirky and entertaining, great soundtrack.

Theatre

• Guys and Dolls ... I never quite got into it. The songs and music were uninspiring, the dialogue mundane. Marine Prior and Lisa McCune were good and rose above the limited fare.
